Need to Bead Club

On the first Tuesday of every month get your “bead fix” from 5-8 p.m. Bring your projects, make new friends, get one-on-one instruction and bead the night away! There is no cost to attend, just call 801-561-1168 and reserve your spot. Space is limited to six people per night. To reserve another Tuesday of the month, call to check availability.

You can also reserve a Tuesday night for a group class. For a group class call Angela at 435-512-9722. (Instruction and material fees will apply.)

2009 Classes and Events

Classes are also available on most Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. Classes include basic and intermediate beading, basic wire wrapping, earring extravaganza, silver-smithing and more. Check our class schedule for details. Get an additional 10% of all additional materials you purchase during any class.

Classes are held on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 1:00; private classes also available.

Stringing Basics: Learn the basics for stringing, including what types of stringing wire to use with different projects.

Project: Bracelet
Skills: Stringing, crimping, basic design, clasp attachment.

Stringing Summit: The project in this class matches the bracelet made in the Stringing Basics class, which is the next step to your stringing expertise. After this class you will be a stringing pro! We will learn about multi-strand projects also.

Skills: Stringing, crimping, intermediate design, clasp attachment.
Tools Needed: crimp tools

Prerequisite: Stringing Basics class or previous stringing experience.

Wire Wrapping Earring Extravaganza: The quickest way to learn the valuable wire wrapping technique is with earrings. In this class you will learn wire wrapping basics and leave with three pairs of earrings that you made!

Project: 3 pairs of earrings
Skills: Wire wrapping, earring design, earring hook attachment
Tools Needed: round nose jewelry pliers, flat nose jewelry pliers, flush wire cutters
Cost: $45 (all materials and handouts included). Bring your own tools or purchase them at Accent Artistry for 10% off. Basic tool kit is $7.

Advanced Wire Wrapping: Take your wire wrapping basics to the next level when you make dangle earrings and a matching pendant. You will learn how to link two wire wrapped items together, which means endless possibilities for your jewelry projects.

Tools Needed: round nose jewelry pliers, flat nose jewelry pliers, flush wire cutters

Kid’s Stringing Basics (ages 8-11) -Kids learn the stones and their properties as they are guided with confidence-building instruction while making a bracelet. This class is ideal for kids to make a cherished gift for themselves or someone special.

Prerequisite: Child must be at least 8 years old.
